This Return and Refund Policy explains how Gorice App handles returns and refunds for grocery purchases. We aim to ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to practical and legal standards for perishable goods.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Defective or Incorrect Items: Items that are damaged, defective, or incorrect (e.g., wrong product delivered) may be returned within 72 hours of delivery.
- Non-Returnable Items: Perishable goods (e.g., fresh produce, dairy, frozen items) are non-returnable unless defective, damaged, or incorrect. Non-perishable items must be unopened and in original packaging.
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email or receipt) to process a return.
2. Return Process
- Contact Us: Notify us within 72 hours of delivery via Goricefirst@gmail.com or the App’s support feature. Include your order number, item details, and reason for return (photos if applicable).
- Return Inspection: We may request the return of all items or evidence of defective/damaged items.
- Return Shipping: For approved returns, we will provide a prepaid shipping label or arrange pickup. Customers are responsible for return shipping if the error was theirs (e.g., wrong item ordered).
3. Refunds
- Refund Eligibility: Refunds are issued for defective, damaged, or incorrect items, or if an order is canceled before delivery.
- Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of approval.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Delivery fees and taxes are non-refundable unless the entire order is defective or incorrect.
- No-Refund Policy for Perishables: Perishable items are not eligible for refunds unless defective or incorrect.
4. Cancellations
- You may cancel an order before it is processed for delivery (typically before 4 PM IST of the ordered day).
- Contact us immediately to request cancellation.
- Once an order is in transit, cancellations are not guaranteed, and standard return policies apply.
